ZX upper deck to Z-series gear case adapter

This machined aluminum adapter is a dedicated RC spare designed to join a Z-series gear case with a ZX graphite upper deck when installing that deck on supported Z-series chassis. It serves as a mechanical interface that lines up bolt patterns and preserves the designed stack height between gear case and upper deck without changing drivetrain geometry.

Made from precision-machined aluminum, the adapter gives a firm mounting face and helps maintain consistent alignment during assembly or when switching decks. It is intended as a structural mounting part and does not provide tuning gains to the drivetrain.

Installation notes: place the adapter between the gear case and upper deck, align the existing bolt holes, and fasten with the original screws for your deck or case. Check alignment visually before final tightening to avoid binding in the drivetrain.

It positions between the ZX graphite upper deck and the Z-series gear case to align bolt patterns and set the correct stack height so the two parts sit together without changing gear alignment.
Align the adapter to the deck and case holes, start fasteners by hand, then tighten evenly. Visually confirm there is no twist or bind before final torque to avoid drivetrain problems.
