YZ-4 Graphite Battery Plate Overview

This Yokomo Z4-118P graphite battery plate is an RC-scale replacement part made for the YZ-4 family. It delivers a low-mass mounting surface for compact batteries and is intended as a direct-fit upgrade where YZ-4 or B-YZ4 battery trays are specified.

Compatibility is limited to the YZ-4 series as supplied: YZ-4 and B-YZ4 chassis platforms. The plate is fabricated from graphite to reduce weight while still supporting the battery pack during off-road running.

Installation is straightforward on models already set up for a removable battery plate: the Z4-118P installs using the existing battery-mounting points and fasteners used on the YZ-4 tray. Verify screw lengths and thread engagement when swapping parts to avoid contact with nearby components.

From a setup point of view, a graphite plate changes the car's center of mass and flex behavior. Use the plate as a tuning element to refine front/rear balance and to assess changes in roll and traction without altering other hardware.
