3G Gearcase for YZ-2DTM Chassis

This dedicated 3-gear transmission case is designed for the 2WD YZ-2DTM platform. The part houses the 3G gear train and provides the mounting points for the internal driveline components used on YZ-2DTM based chassis.

Fit this left/right pair when replacing worn or damaged transmission housings on compatible B-YZ2DTM family models. The case is intended for RC repair, routine maintenance, and setup work where the enclosure fit influences gear mesh and drivetrain alignment.

Installation notes: check bearing seating and alignment during reassembly, confirm gear mesh and freeplay before running, and inspect any seals or shims you reuse from the original assembly. This component is supplied as a direct replacement for the listed chassis and is not intended to change gear ratios.

Compatibility

  • B-YZ2DTM
  • B-YZ2DTMW
  • B-YZ2DTM2
  • B-YZ2CAL2
  • B-YZ2DTM2S

No. This item replaces the housing for the 3G gear layout and does not alter gear ratios. Final performance depends on the gears, mesh settings, and overall drivetrain condition.
Clean all mating surfaces, inspect bearings and shims for wear, set gear mesh carefully, and rotate the drivetrain by hand to confirm smooth operation before powering up.
