X33 Rear Shock Cylinder for YZ-2

This cylinder is a direct replacement body for the X33 rear shock used on Yokomo 2WD YZ-2 off-road cars. The part is supplied to restore or refresh the rear shock assembly when the original cylinder is worn or damaged.

The surface is treated with a hard alumite finish intended to reduce friction on sliding surfaces and to improve wear resistance over time. In an RC setup the shock body houses the internal piston and damping oil, so surface condition affects how consistently the shock responds during compression and rebound.

When installing, confirm that the X33 shock internal parts (pistons, seals, shafts) sit correctly in this body and that the shock is filled and bled per your existing setup. This component is intended as a like-for-like replacement for compatible YZ-2 derived rear shock assemblies and supports tuning changes by maintaining stable damping behavior when paired with your chosen pistons and oil.

Yes. This item is supplied as a direct replacement for the X33 rear shock body on the YZ-2 compatible models listed above and will restore a worn or damaged cylinder.
The hard alumite coating reduces sliding friction and increases surface wear resistance, helping the shock deliver more consistent compression and rebound behavior.
