The YS Engine YSS6125S is a compact remote needle valve made for RC-scale glow (nitro) engines, providing an external adjustment point so pilots and drivers can fine-tune idle and midrange mixture without removing the airbox or reaching the carburetor. It acts as an inline control to simplify adjustments during practice or competition runs.

Fitting is direct when planned into the chassis: mount the valve externally and connect it to the carburetor needle via a short, correctly aligned linkage or pushrod. Use common fuel tubing and secure clamps; never force the linkage as this can bend the needle or cause binding. The unit is intended for RC use and does not alter the carburetor's internal geometry.

For safe tuning, make small, measured turns and evaluate engine response after each change. Begin from your baseline needle position, then use the remote valve to slightly richen or lean the mixture at idle and midrange. Keep an eye on exhaust residue, throttle feel, and running temperature as you tune.

Maintenance is straightforward: keep the valve free of dirt and fuel varnish, inspect O-rings and threads for wear, and replace any damaged fuel tubing. Regular checks of the linkage and seals prevent air ingestion and ensure reliable in-field performance.
