This wrist pin is a direct replacement designed for the YS F91AC piston assembly. It acts as the pivot between the piston and the connecting rod inside small nitro engine cylinders, supplied as a single component to restore proper piston articulation when the original pin shows wear or scoring.
The condition of the wrist pin has a direct effect on piston travel and sealing consistency. Inspect the pin bore and piston walls for scoring, ovality, or excessive play during routine service, and replace the pin if any of those issues are present to maintain piston alignment and reliable combustion in RC nitro engines.
Fitting the wrist pin requires disassembly of the engine top end to access the piston and connecting rod. On reassembly, ensure mating surfaces are clean, retaining clips are oriented correctly, and perform a careful run-in to confirm smooth operation.
