Left Rear Roll Shock Mount for YR-X12 Chassis

This Yokomo YX-22L left rear roll shock mount is a precision-machined aluminum left-side mounting part made for competition 1/12 scale YR-X12 chassis. It secures the roll damper to the rear section of the chassis and defines the mounting point used when adjusting roll resistance and rear chassis balance.

During installation the YX-22L replaces the original left-side roll shock mount and fits the same mounting locations on the YR-X12 and YR-X1219 chassis. Inspect the mount points and alignment while reassembling to ensure the damper sits square and the linkage operates without binding.

In practical tuning the mount is a hardware-level component that changes how the roll damper transmits forces into the rear suspension geometry. Swapping or checking this mount is a routine step when chasing tighter body roll control and crisper transient response on 1/12 competition cars.

Compatibility

  • YR-X12
  • YR-X1219

Verify the left-side rear mounting points on your chassis match the factory locations. The YX-22L is made to the same hole pattern used on YR-X12 and is listed for YR-X1219 as well.
Yes, this part is the left rear roll shock mount and should be paired with the corresponding right-side component when replacing both mounts.
Align the mount to the chassis points, hand-start fasteners, check damper clearance, then torque to spec while verifying free movement through suspension travel before finalising setup.
