Low-profile 3mm nylon lock nuts for YRX 12

The Yokomo YOKYX-13N is a four-piece set of 3mm nylon thin lock nuts designed for applications on the YRX 12 where reduced stack height is needed. These thin-profile nuts use a nylon insert to resist vibration-induced loosening while keeping clearance to a minimum.

Fit these lock nuts when reassembling wheel hubs, suspension links, or any 3mm-threaded connection on the specified chassis. The thin design preserves correct geometry in tight areas where a standard-height nut would interfere.

Installation tips: inspect thread condition and remove debris before fitting, tighten until the nylon insert engages without over-torquing, and avoid excessive force that might deform plastic parts or the locking collar. Replace any nut with a degraded nylon insert.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Tighten until the nylon insert grips the bolt shank; use controlled turns rather than high torque. The thin nut is not intended for heavy clamping, so avoid aggressive force that could crush plastic components.
You can reuse them if the nylon insert still provides firm locking. Check for looseness or visible wear in the nylon; replace the nut if locking action is reduced.
The thin profile preserves original clearances and prevents added stack height from altering link positions, helping maintain correct suspension geometry on tight assemblies.
