Low-Profile Formula Body Shell

This 1/10-scale body is designed for on-road formula-style RC cars and specifies a low-nose silhouette to reduce frontal area and reflect scale styling. It is supplied as a ready-to-trim shell intended for hobbyists who mount and finish bodies to match chassis geometry and personal setup preferences.

Fitment focuses on the YRF 001 Series, so verify mounting post positions before cutting. Typical preparation steps include trimming to chassis lines, test-fitting over the cockpit and wheel cutouts, and marking post and motor clearance areas. Use the body as a tuning element: small trims around the wheel openings and rear wing area change airflow and visual balance without altering mechanical setup.

Finishing should follow standard RC practice: mask areas that contact bumpers or posts, use paints formulated for RC bodies, and allow sufficient cure time before handling. The body functions as an aesthetic and aerodynamic component for track and display use only, as part of a 1/10 on-road model.

Remark :

Place the uncut shell over your chassis, mark each post through the body with a fine marker, and measure lateral and fore-aft offsets to confirm alignment before any trimming.
Most chassis supply posts and clips; you may want nylon spacers or longer body posts if the shell rides higher or lower than stock bodies.
Use polycarbonate-specific paint, apply several light coats rather than one heavy coat, mask contact points, and allow full cure time per paint instructions.
Small trimming changes alter airflow and visual balance; large removals can affect aerodynamic behavior, so make incremental cuts and test on track.
