Raised gearbox motor plate for YZ-2CA/DTM

This machined aluminum motor mount is engineered for raised gearbox layouts on Yokomo YZ-2CA/DTM platforms. By selecting different motor mounting holes you can move the motor up or down so the driveline aligns when the gearbox is positioned higher using the matching gearbox spacer set.

The plate features two motor mounting hole positions to suit varied motor offsets. Choosing the hole stamped "-2" returns the motor to the stock fore-aft position when the gearbox is raised by 2mm, helping to preserve pinion and spur mesh without extra shimming. The part functions as a direct replacement motor plate for chassis that accept this mount form.

Installation notes: fit the mount to the chassis and gearbox, confirm gear mesh after switching holes, and check motor alignment before final torque on the screws.

Yes. The Z2-304C-2 plate is intended for use with raised gearbox spacers and lets you change motor height by selecting the appropriate mounting hole.

What effect do the two motor holes have on gear mesh?

The two positions accommodate different motor offsets; using the "-2" position compensates for a 2mm gearbox raise so pinion to spur engagement stays close to the original alignment without additional shims.
