YZ-2 gearbox spacer overview

This aluminum spacer kit is designed for 1/10 scale YZ-2 series cars to alter roll behaviour by raising the gearbox mounting height by 2.0mm. The spacer fits under the gearbox to influence weight transfer and roll centre margins without changing suspension geometry directly.

Install the shim beneath the gearbox, above the rear suspension mount and ahead of the rear brace. In practice, adding this spacer shifts chassis roll response and can reduce rear roll or fine tune mid-corner balance depending on anti-roll bars and shock settings. Installation requires basic lower chassis disassembly to lift the gearbox and insert the spacer between the gearbox and chassis mount.
