Robust steel rear mount built for YZ-2 balance

This steel rear suspension mount (RF) is an RC-scale replacement part designed for YZ-2 2WD off‑road chassis. The unit replaces a standard rear mount and is intended to shift mass slightly lower in the chassis compared with typical aluminium pieces, changing rear traction and handling balance without altering geometry.

Fit and installation are straightforward for anyone familiar with YZ-2 rear-end servicing: remove the original rear mount, transfer any bushings or spacers, and secure the steel RF mount using the chassis' existing mounting hardware. Verify thread engagement and torque to the same levels used for the factory part to avoid fastener loosening during running.

From a setup perspective this heavier steel mount is an easy way to tune rear behaviour. Adding mass low on the chassis tends to increase rear traction and can make the car feel more planted through low-speed corners and on loose surfaces; pair it with spring and damper changes to reach the handling you want.

Yes. The Z2-300SRF is made for YZ-2 family chassis listed above and installs at the factory mounting points using the existing hardware from the original mount.
No special fasteners are required; use the stock bolts and apply the same torque and thread engagement checks you would for the factory part. Threadlocker is optional per your normal maintenance routine.
You may want to fine-tune springs or damping if the car feels more rear-biased. The mount alters mass distribution rather than geometry, so suspension rate adjustments are the usual follow-up.
