YR-X12 lower chassis reinforcement

This aluminum lower brace is an RC-scale tuning part designed for the YR-X12 1/12 competition chassis. Constructed from the supplied 2.0mm 70-75 duralumin plate, the brace raises lower-chassis rigidity while lowering the center of gravity to refine handling.

Because the plate is relatively thin, it stays compatible with narrow-diameter tires commonly used on indoor carpet layouts, and its extra grip helps reduce high-sides on carpeted surfaces. On high-grip tracks the brace softens overly sharp steering response, making the car steadier through fast sections without requiring complex setup changes.

Fitting is a straightforward chassis-level swap that shifts front-to-rear flex balance; follow normal maintenance practice and recheck screw torque after initial test runs. Fit this brace when the car feels too nervous on high-traction surfaces or when a lower centre of gravity is needed for more stable cornering lines.
