YR-10F Front Upper Arm Support Overview

This graphite front upper arm support is made for 1/10 scale formula cars and is built to fit the YR-10F chassis. It replaces the factory plastic piece to provide a firmer mounting point that alters suspension behavior and enhances steering feedback.

The component fits at the front upper arm pivot and uses the stock arm pins and hardware on YR-10F layouts. Installation normally requires removing the front suspension to access the upper arm mounts, confirming a clean fit, and checking for free movement through the full travel after reassembly.

From a setup perspective, adding a graphite support increases local stiffness at the upper link, which helps reduce flex under load and produces a crisper initial steering reaction. Many drivers install it to stabilise suspension geometry during cornering and to make camber or roll center adjustments more predictable.

Yes. The YR-10US is machined to match the YR-10F front upper arm mounting positions and serves as a direct replacement for the standard support.
Typical RC hand tools are enough: hex drivers for the pivot screws and pliers for any retaining clips are normally all you need to remove the old part and install the graphite support.
Graphite raises local stiffness at the mount, giving a sharper initial steering response and more repeatable geometry under load compared with the more flexible plastic pieces.
