6mm backing patches to protect painted shells

This 6mm body mount patch set is a small-scale RC accessory designed to protect painted shells and reinforce the mounting holes where body posts pass through. Each pack contains 8pcs sized to back body mount holes that match a 6mm thickness. The patches are applied to the underside of the shell around the post opening to reduce paint abrasion and spread loads at the mounting point.

Installation is focused on fit and clearance: position the patch behind the body mount hole so the center aperture aligns with the post, press the patch flat to the shell backing, and check that the shell still clears posts and hardware when seated on the chassis. If trimming is needed for a neat fit, make small cuts and retest clearance before final use.

In regular use these patches act as preventative reinforcement: they reduce tearing from frequent shell removal and help preserve finish where body clips or posts contact painted areas. Fit them to shells where the body mount post backing is 6mm or where added backing support is desired.
