Precision aluminum shims for spacing and setup

This pack includes eight precision-cut aluminum shims sized 3x6x3.0mm designed for R/C use. The black anodized finish improves surface wear resistance while keeping contact faces thin and uniform. Fit these shims when you need small, consistent changes to spacing or preload.

Application notes: insert shims as thin spacing elements between bearings, shafts, hubs, or mounting points to correct axial play, refine gear mesh, or fine-tune alignment. Each shim has a fixed 3.0mm thickness; stacking allows you to achieve intermediate clearances without machining parts.

Installation tips: wipe mating surfaces to remove grit before fitting, align shim edges with housings to avoid interference, and recheck clearances after tightening fasteners. Apply threadlocker or use locknuts where reassembly must resist vibration.

Handling and tuning role: aluminum shims deliver predictable spacing shifts useful in chassis setup and iterative tuning cycles, such as reducing driveline binding or centering rotating components without altering fixed hardware.
