Underside protection and styling

This chassis protect sheet is an RC-scale accessory designed to sit on the underside or exposed sections of a model chassis where scuffs and abrasion commonly occur. It carries the Yokomo logo and the 400x150mm format fits many hobby chassis layouts used for track and practice.

Fitment is intended for model-scale applications only, serving as a protective and cosmetic layer. Typical use includes shielding painted surfaces from rubbing, reducing wear on exposed chassis areas, and providing a clean branded finish that helps when aligning body mounts or checking chassis contact points.

Installation is simple and reversible: clean the target area, position the sheet dry to confirm alignment, then apply from one edge while smoothing out air. Trim excess material with a hobby knife for a neat fit; allow any adhesive to settle before high-speed running.

How should I prepare the chassis surface before applying the sheet?

Wipe the area with isopropyl alcohol or a gentle cleaner to remove grease and dust, let it dry fully, then test-fit the sheet before peeling the backing off.

Can I trim the sheet to fit a smaller chassis area?

Yes. Use a sharp hobby knife or scissors to cut the sheet to shape, and round the corners to reduce the chance of peeling during use.
