Titanium Super Soft Option

This titanium shock spring is an RC-scale super soft replacement designed for R/C shock assemblies. It provides a lower spring rate when you need increased compliance and improved low-speed suspension movement without changing the shock body.

Fitting is simple on common threaded shock absorbers: remove the shock cap and the original spring, place the Yokomo spring on the shaft or spring perch, then reassemble while checking preload and seat alignment. No specialist tools beyond your regular hex driver and shock wrenches are needed; keep the spring centered to avoid binding.

From a tuning viewpoint, choosing a super soft spring moves load control toward damping and preload adjustments. Expect differences in squat, initial bite, and low-speed compliance, so match this spring with suitable shock oil and preload spacers to balance ride height and transient response. Always confirm fit and clearance on your particular shock assembly before extended use.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Super soft springs reduce the spring rate relative to stock, increasing low-speed compliance and softening initial suspension resistance. This typically smooths small bumps but can alter weight transfer during acceleration and braking.
The spring fits standard R/C shock assemblies that accept aftermarket springs. Check the inner diameter and free length against your shock specifications to confirm fit before installing.
Periodically inspect for deformation or wear, keep the spring clean of grit and debris, and replace it if signs of fatigue or surface damage appear after extended running.
