Silicone shock oil for precise damping control

Yokomo YOKRP-085350 Racing Performer Ultra Shock Oils #35 is a silicone-based shock fluid formulated for RC-scale shock absorbers to support damping adjustments and tuning work. Intended solely for model use, it helps set damping response when rebuilding or tuning shocks to match track or surface conditions.

This product acts as a consumable for tuning rather than a mechanical component, used during shock servicing to alter damping characteristics. It works with common RC shock designs that accept silicone shock oil and is suitable for hobby car setups on both on-road and off-road models.

  • Purpose: Tune shock damping to refine handling balance and rebound behavior during setup sessions.
  • Compatibility: For RC shock absorbers that use silicone shock oil; consult your shock manual for recommended viscosity ranges.
  • Installation notes: Fully drain old fluid, refill slowly to avoid trapping air, reassemble and compress the shock several times to purge bubbles before final installation.
  • Tuning role: #35 provides a medium damping level; pair it with firmer or softer springs and different pistons as required during setup.
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is used to establish a medium damping characteristic in RC shocks, helping to balance body control and rebound for general track or club driving.
Disassemble the shock, drain the existing oil, refill to the factory or tuned level slowly, compress the shock repeatedly to release trapped air, then reassemble and verify smooth operation before reinstalling.
