Precision Foam Bonding Adhesive

The Yokomo YOKCSSGST is formulated specifically for foam sponge tyres used on 1/10 and similar scale on-road and drift models. It bonds foam sponge tyre constructions without degrading the foam structure and is ideal when fitting new foam inserts, re-gluing split tyres, or refining tyre seating for consistent lap-to-lap behaviour.

Only use on true foam sponge tyre surfaces. Prepare the tyre by removing loose dust, mount the tyre on the rim, and apply a controlled amount along the bead and the rim contact area. Press the tyre evenly to ensure full contact and hold briefly until the initial tack sets. Remove any excess immediately to prevent migration onto the tread.

While the adhesive does not change the foam compound hardness, it preserves consistent bead seating and repeatable mounting, which helps maintain predictable handling and grip. For frequent tyre maintenance use measured applications to avoid buildup on the rim or tread edge.

Handle as a standard hobby adhesive: use in a ventilated workspace, avoid skin and eye contact, and keep the container tightly closed in a cool, dry location. Dispose of residues according to local regulations. This product is intended for foam sponge tyre maintenance on RC models only.
