The Yokomo YOKCSDOT5 Super Flex Gear Differential Oil Dot 5 is an RC-scale silicone fluid blended for gear-type differentials. It is made to produce Dot 5 viscosity behavior so you can dial in rotational coupling between left and right outputs.

This fluid's purpose is tuning: it adjusts how rapidly torque moves across the gears under load, which changes corner entry stability and mid-corner rotation. Use it to refine handling balance rather than as a fix for worn mechanical parts.

Fitting is simple at the component level: remove the differential from the car, open the gear cavity, and replace or top up the internal fluid to the level recommended by your differential maker. After filling, reassemble and confirm smooth operation in the chassis before running.

Storage and care: keep the bottle in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight, seal the cap tightly to avoid contamination, and renew the fluid if it becomes discolored or contains particles. Avoid contact with painted finishes and electronics.
