Low-profile side diffuser for YD-2S

The Yokomo Y2-001SDA side diffuser is an RC-scale accessory made for the YD-2S family of drift chassis. It provides lateral aerodynamic correction to increase side bite and deliver a steadier feel during transitions, helping drivers maintain cleaner cornering lines.

Reducing the gap between body and chassis on compatible shells can also stiffen the side panels and further stabilise drift behaviour. Note that this part requires front-side clearance and therefore cannot be installed together with the graphite side plate reinforcement bar Y2-002SB.

Can I run Y2-001SDA with Y2-002SB reinforcement?

No. The diffuser requires front-side clearance that conflicts with the graphite side plate reinforcement Y2-002SB, so they are not compatible together.

Does installation need special fasteners?

Installation uses the existing side mounting points on YD-2S variants. Use the standard screws supplied with your chassis and confirm body clearance as you assemble.
