Upgrade the YD-2SXIII with a Precision Graphite Main Plate

Crafted with precision, the Yokomo Y2-002SMGA graphite high traction main chassis is designed to transform your YD-2SXIII's performance. This chassis retains the screw hole layout used for E series gearboxes and rear motor conversions while providing a refined plate geometry suited to varied track setups.

Lightweight 2.5mm Graphite with Focused Strength

The main plate uses a 2.5mm graphite sheet common to the YD-2 family, but has been trimmed in key areas to cut weight without sacrificing rigidity. That balance makes it effective on low mu surfaces like P-tiles and coloured concrete where rear grip matters most.

Rear Slit Processing for Better Drift Control

The rear section is processed with slits to improve surface contact and enhance traction at the rear axle. That design increases drift stability through corners and helps drivers maintain controlled slides.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes. It is optimised for the YD-2SXIII but keeps the same screw positions compatible with E series gearboxes and rear motor conversions, so other YD-2 models can often use it with minimal changes.
Low mu tracks such as P-tiles and coloured concrete show the biggest improvement, as the chassis design enhances rear traction and drift stability on those slick surfaces.
Start with slightly increased rear toe and softer rear damping to exploit the added traction, then fine tune tyre choice and camber to suit the specific low mu surface.
