Rear aluminum toe mount

This aluminum rear suspension mount is an RC-scale replacement part designed to attach to the rear side of the rear suspension arm and alter toe geometry for tuning handling balance. Adjusting the toe angle at the rear arm pivot shifts corner behaviour: a larger positive toe tends toward understeer while a reduced angle moves the balance toward oversteer.

Fit and tuning role: the part delivers a rigid machined mounting point intended for repeatable setup changes rather than flexible compliance. Use it when you need reliable toe changes across multiple runs and make small steps between settings to judge handling differences on your usual surface.

Installation notes: the kit contains the hardware needed to secure the mount; fit it to the rear side of the rear suspension arm and fasten with the supplied pins and screws. Recheck fastener torque after the first few runs and inspect the mount seating periodically for wear.

How is the 3 degree rear offset achieved during fitting?

The mount locates on the rear side of the suspension arm using the supplied spacer and shims so the pivot point shifts by 3 degrees from the stock position. Follow the supplied hardware sequence and ensure the arm sits square before tightening.

Does the package include all necessary fasteners?

Yes. The kit lists the aluminum mount, spacer, two shims, two pin balls and two 3x8mm flat head screws needed to assemble the unit onto the rear arm.

What test routine is recommended after installation?

Run a series of consistent laps on your normal surface, noting changes in turn-in and mid-corner balance. Make only small adjustments between runs to isolate the effect of the toe change.
