Graphite rear shock tower for drift setups

This is an RC-scale graphite rear shock tower designed for drift chassis use and suspension tuning on Yokomo drift platforms and compatible cars. The part provides a firmer mounting point for the rear shocks to influence roll centre and damping feedback while preserving the core chassis geometry.

Installation notes: confirm your chassis' rear tower mounting pattern before fitting, use the vehicle's existing mounting holes and hardware or equivalent fasteners, and verify alignment and thread engagement during reassembly. No attempt is made here to list included fasteners or exact hole spacings; check the part against your car before installation.

Tuning role: replacing a stock plastic tower with a graphite unit increases stiffness at the shock mount, which can reduce flex and produce a crisper rear response. Use this tower as one element in a controlled setup process alongside shock valving, spring rate, and anti-roll adjustments to dial in the desired drift behaviour.

Fit depends on the rear tower mounting pattern. Measure the hole spacing and compare it to your chassis; compatible fastener types are also required for a secure fit.
Graphite raises stiffness at the shock mounting points, reducing unwanted flex and helping the rear end respond more predictably during slides and transitions.
Hand-start screws, check thread engagement, and tighten progressively. Confirm alignment before final torque to avoid stripping threads or inducing stress cracks.
