Race-ready Rear Short Shock Set by Yokomo

The Yokomo S4-S1M13 X30 Rear Short Shock Set is built to sharpen handling on SO/MO 2.0 chassis. Its 13mm big bore and 3.0mm shaft deliver improved damping control for track-focused setups.

Technical Highlights for the Yokomo S4-S1M13 X30

  • Compatibility: Fits SOR-020, MOR-020 and SOR-020D chassis models without modification.
  • Enhanced Damping: A 13mm big bore increases oil volume, helping the shocks manage bumps and stay consistent lap after lap.
  • Durable Construction: Manufactured from race-grade components to resist fatigue during competition use.
  • Optimal Rear Setup: Specifically tuned for the rear of SO/MO series cars to help balance traction and rotation.

Fitting and Care Advice

When fitting the Yokomo S4-S1M13 X30 Shock Set, make sure each shock is mounted securely and the mounting hardware is torqued correctly. Regular inspection of seals and oil will keep damping consistent and extend service life.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
These shocks are optimised for SOR-020, MOR-020 and SOR-020D but may fit other Yokomo models with similar mounting and dimensions. Check mounting eyelet spacing before fitting.
The larger bore allows a wider range of oil viscosities and spring rates. For most tracks start with a medium spring and mid-weight oil, then tune for traction and responsiveness.
Inspect seals and oil after heavy race days and consider a full rebuild every few events or if you notice leakage or inconsistent damping.
