High-precision differential silicone oil

The Yokomo RP-085075A Racing Performer Ultra diff oil #7500 is a silicone-based lubricant made for radio-controlled gear-type differentials, engineered to provide steady damping and reduce internal friction under sustained load. The #7500 viscosity designation offers a tuned option to modify slip and locking characteristics without changing gear geometry.

For tuning, heavier diff oils raise resistance to differential action and create a firmer locked feeling during acceleration and corner exit, whereas lighter fluids permit freer wheel differentiation. The RP-085075A #7500 is a higher-viscosity selection for setups seeking stronger centre lock sensation or less differential spin on low-traction surfaces.

Installation overview: remove the differential housing, drain the old lubricant, inspect gears and bearings for wear or debris, and refill with a measured quantity of diff oil suited to your diff type and setup routine. After filling, cycle the differential through its travel to purge air pockets and confirm smooth operation before refitting the unit to the chassis.

Maintenance notes: replace diff oil at intervals determined by run frequency and inspection, and avoid mixing different silicone oil formulations in one differential unless compatibility is confirmed, since additives and base chemistry can change performance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The "#7500" identifies the manufacturer's relative viscosity grade for this product, used to select the damping level you want when tuning a differential.
Mixing is generally not advised unless you have verified compatibility, because combining formulations alters the final viscosity and can produce unpredictable behavior.
Change diff oil based on running hours and inspection results, especially if you notice contamination, foaming, or a drop in damping performance.
