Aluminum rear body mount for R12

This aluminium rear body mount block is manufactured for the Yokomo R12 platform as a direct-scale accessory for 1/12 touring RC cars. It secures the rear body shell and permits fine adjustment of the mounting point to help achieve consistent body height and fitment.

Compatibility is determined by the chassis list provided with the part. The block is suitable as a direct replacement on Yokomo R12 and may be used on specified GT-series chassis where mounting geometry matches. Confirm hole spacing and alignment on your chassis before installation.

  • Supported chassis: GT5-R2 / GT5-RS2 / YR-R12C3 / YR-R12C31 / GT5-R35 / GT5-SC430 / GT3-REA / GT3-IS350 / GT3-B4 / GT3-CAX / GT3-BRZ / GT3-AHP / GT-B

Installation notes: remove the rear shell and the existing mount hardware, test-fit the block to ensure correct alignment, then tighten the mounting screws evenly. Use the correct hex driver for the existing screws and avoid over-torquing to protect threads. The block is designed to work with existing body posts and mount hardware on compatible chassis.

Tuning role: the mount block supplies a fixed, repeatable reference for rear body positioning, useful when comparing different shells or making incremental rear height changes during setup sessions.

Yes. It is made to match Yokomo R12 mounting geometry, but always verify hole spacing on your chassis before final installation.
The part is machined from aluminum to provide a durable, lightweight mounting point for the rear body.
Tighten screws evenly and progressively to avoid misalignment; use the existing hex screws and avoid excessive torque to prevent thread damage.
