R12 front lower A-arm overview

Designed for RC-scale Yokomo R12 platforms, this front lower A-arm replaces the standard kit plastic arm. Molded from a carbon-containing resin, it provides a firmer, more consistent feel versus the stock component.

The reinforced material improves impact resistance during the typical knocks and contacts in club use, while enhancing steering linearity and on-centre feel on high-grip asphalt. The arm works to stabilise lower suspension geometry so small camber, toe, or damper adjustments produce more predictable results.

Installation follows the usual R12 front lower arm replacement steps: remove the wheel and steering linkages, unbolt the original arm from the upright and chassis mount, then fit the R12-10LFC using the same hardware and ball studs. Check hinge-pin retention and confirm free suspension travel before running.

Yes. The R12-10LFC is made for the R12 chassis family and matches the original mounting points, hinge pins, and upright interfaces so it installs without modifying the chassis.
The stiffer resin can make initial turn-in crisper; expect to recheck static camber and toe and run a short test to confirm. Minor damper or toe tweaks are often enough to re-tune handling.
No special hardware is required. Fit the R12-10LFC using the same ball studs and fasteners from the original arm, but always verify hinge-pin retention after installation.
