GT500 Front Suspension Arm Pin Overview

This RC-scale replacement is made for the front suspension assembly of the GT500 chassis. The Yokomo YOKGT-12L front suspension arm pins hold the suspension arm pivot to the chassis and act as a direct swap when original pins are worn or broken.

Compatibility is limited to the GT500 chassis, so confirm your chassis code before buying. The pins serve as a simple pivot point; their main purpose is to keep correct arm alignment and cut down on unwanted play that can harm steering response and suspension behaviour.

Installation is simple for hobbyists with basic workshop experience: remove the damaged pin, clean the mount, then press or slide the replacement pin into place and refit any retaining clips or screws required by your chassis. Follow standard RC workshop checks and re-tighten fasteners after the first run.

Tuning tip: fitting fresh pins restores consistent arm motion and improves predictability when making small setup changes. The pins do not alter geometry on their own, but removing lateral play helps make toe and suspension adjustments more repeatable.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
This part is specified for the GT500 chassis only. Other models may use different pin sizes or retainers, so check the chassis code before ordering.
No specialist tools are required; a pin punch or small arbor press can make seating the pin easier depending on the chassis layout. Basic screwdrivers and pliers are usually sufficient.
Replacing worn pins restores consistent pivot action and can make setup readings more repeatable. The pins themselves do not change suspension geometry.
