Yokomo GT1-26 Servo Saver Overview

The Yokomo GT1-26 is a purpose-built servo saver that replaces the standard steering protector on GT1-01 family 1/10 scale touring car chassis. It isolates the steering servo from impacts and shock loads to help reduce wear on the servo spline and horn while keeping a predictable steering feel.

This replacement part fits the GT1-01, GT1-01AG, GT1-01B, GT1-01BG and GT1-01RTR variants where the servo mounting and steering linkage follow the same layout. Installation is simple on compatible chassis and the unit installs into the existing steering stack in place of a stock saver. The spring-loaded mechanism provides passive protection without any changes to the servo electronics.

For setup, the GT1-26 will not change steering ratios but can affect the initial play depending on spring tension and the chosen servo horn. After fitting, verify steering centring and horn alignment to maintain consistent response.
