YZ-4 front tower overview

This RC-grade graphite front shock tower is engineered for the YZ-4 platform. Built from a 4mm graphite plate, it cuts weight at the upper front end while keeping robust mounting points for the shock hardware.

In use the tower helps limit excessive body roll by lowering mass high on the chassis and giving a firmer shock anchorage, allowing the front dampers to react closer to their designed range when hitting bumps. It is intended for the kit standard straight-type suspension arm layout.

Installation note: this tower replaces the factory front shock tower and bolts into the existing YZ-4 kit mounting points for flat suspension arms. Drivers should notice a quicker turn-in and reduced body roll as a result of the stiffer front shock attachment.

Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Will this fit the standard YZ-4 flat suspension arms?

Yes. The tower is designed to attach to the kit's standard straight (flat) suspension arms on YZ-4 chassis without modification.

The 4mm graphite reduces high-point mass and stiffens the shock mount, which typically cuts body roll and produces a sharper initial turn-in.

Do I need special tools to install it?

No special tools are required; standard hobby hex drivers and basic hand tools are sufficient to remove the stock tower and fit this graphite unit to the kit mounting points.
