BD7/BD5 front suspension arm mount overview

The BD-301FR3 is a blue anodized aluminum front suspension arm mount for 1/10 scale touring car chassis BD7 and BD5. It replaces the rear section of the front suspension arm mount to change arm pin spacing and influence front-end geometry while leaving other suspension components unchanged.

Measured pitch between the left and right suspension arm pins is 44.2mm, which is 0.7mm wider than the standard spacing. That small increase alters track width and scrub radius, so apply it when you need a subtle shift in front-end behaviour for setup and cornering balance.

Installation notes: fit to the original suspension arm mounting points using the existing pins and hardware, check alignment before final tightening, and test in small steps - small changes to arm spacing may require matching toe or camber adjustments to restore balance.

Which chassis will accept this mount?

What handling changes come from the 44.2mm pin pitch?

The extra 0.7mm increases front track slightly and modifies scrub radius, which can sharpen or mellow turn-in depending on the rest of your setup; tune incrementally and evaluate cornering balance.

Do I need special tools to fit it?

No special tools are required beyond the standard hex driver set used on your chassis; after fitting, recheck clearances and alignment before running the car.
