Flexible 12AWG silicone lead

This 12 gauge silicone power lead is built for RC wiring between an electronic speed controller (ESC) and the motor or battery. It uses a single-core conductor with soft silicone insulation to allow high-flex routing inside confined chassis areas; the supplied 100cm length covers most standard layouts without relocating bulkheads or connector positions.

Install like other RC power leads: strip and tin a short conductor length before soldering to the ESC, motor or connector. Keep solder fillets compact, secure the routing to avoid contact with suspension or steering components, and use heat-shrink tubing where needed. The silicone jacket keeps the cable pliable for neat cable management in tight bends.

What is the recommended soldering technique for this cable?

Prepare the conductor by stripping and tinning a short length, tin the ESC or motor pad, heat both briefly with the iron and apply solder to form a compact joint, then protect with heat-shrink tubing.

Will 100cm be long enough for common 1/10 and 1/8 layouts?

In most standard 1/10 and 1/8 chassis the 100cm length allows tidy routing without re-routing bulkheads; for bespoke or very large designs measure the route first to confirm fit.

Can this wire be bent tightly around sharp turns?

Yes. The silicone insulation tolerates repeated flexing, but avoid creasing the conductor when forcing extremely sharp bends to prevent internal damage.
