Rear-side front mount for Yokomo BD7 and BD5

This blue anodized aluminum front suspension mount fits on the rear side of the suspension assembly for Yokomo BD-series touring car chassis. It is an aftermarket RC part that relocates the rear suspension arm pins and creates a serviceable mounting point for adjusting rear suspension geometry.

The left and right suspension arm pin pitch is 47.1mm when this mount is fitted. With the standard front suspension mount installed in the front position, the resulting suspension arm pin angle measures approximately 3.5 degrees. The mount is offered as a direct replacement to retain stock geometry or to be swapped with alternative pitch mounts to alter pin angle for tuning purposes.

Installation is mechanical and uses the same mounting locations as the BD-series arm mounts. When changing pin pitch note that roll center and rear toe will be affected, so make incremental setup changes and test on the track to assess handling differences.

Compatibility

  • Yokomo BD7
  • Yokomo BD5

Yes. It replaces the factory rear-side front suspension mount and lines up with the same arm pin locations on BD5 models.
A 47.1mm pin pitch sets the rear arm pin angle to roughly 3.5 degrees when used with the standard front mount, which changes roll center and rear traction characteristics.
Yes. Swapping to different pitch mounts adjusts the arm pin angle without needing to replace the suspension arm itself.
