Double-Joint CVD Inner Axles, Front and Rear

This Yokomo BD-010AW axle is an RC-scale replacement intended for the double-joint universal inboard CVD assemblies used on BD7 and BD5 platforms. Fit this part when the original inner shaft shows wear, excessive play, or visible damage, or during routine repairs to restore clean drive linkage function.

Supported chassis include: MRTC-BD716 / MRTC-BD716H / MRTC-BD716O / MRTC-BD716S / MRTC-BD7RS / MRTC-BD715B / MRTC-BD715O / MRTC-BD715S / MRTC-BD7RS2 / MRTC-BD7RS3S / MRTC-BD8 / MRTC-BD8A / MRTC-BD8-P / MRTC-BD8AP / MRTC-BD8SV / MRTC-BD818A / MRTC-BD818.

Installation and tuning notes: this axle replaces the inner shaft that links the double-joint CVD to the differential output and therefore influences alignment and driveline feel. When fitting, inspect the CVD cups and cross pins for wear, confirm there is no excess endplay in the CVD housings, and verify smooth rotation throughout suspension travel. A correctly installed axle helps preserve predictable throttle and steering response during setup.

Maintenance tips: look for nicks, bends, or looseness at the joint ends and replace the axle if you detect binding or excessive play. Keep mating surfaces and bearings clean, and recheck driveline operation after initial test runs.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Confirm the exact MRTC model code printed on your chassis and compare it to the supported list above; that ensures correct fitment before ordering.
You can reuse cups if they show no visible wear or deformation, but inspect pins and cups carefully. Replace any worn components to avoid premature failure of the new axle.
