Upper deck stiffener for Yokomo YZ-4

This aluminum upper deck plate is an optional accessory engineered for the Yokomo YZ-4 4WD off-road chassis. The plate bolts to the front and rear upper deck mounting points to create a firmer connection across the chassis top.

By raising chassis rigidity, the plate alters pitch and roll behavior and provides a simple tuning option for handling balance. Many drivers fit an upper deck plate like this to limit flex under acceleration or braking and to refine mid-corner body movement without changing suspension geometry.

Installation is straightforward: the plate uses the existing YZ-4 upper deck front and rear mounting points and fits the standard layout. Only basic hex drivers are normally required, and you may need to tweak other setup items to dial in the handling you want.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The plate secures to the YZ-4 upper deck at the existing front and rear points using the stock screw locations. Follow the chassis layout and reuse the original fasteners where applicable.
Basic hex drivers are sufficient for fitting. No special machining or advanced tools are normally needed for installation.
Increasing top-deck stiffness typically reduces unwanted flex, so you may notice firmer response under acceleration and braking; final behavior depends on overall setup.
