This steering knuckle is an RC-scale hop-up designed for YIKONG YK7081 TB8 platforms, machined from 7075-T6 aluminum to keep weight down while improving strength at high-load steering points. The part replaces factory part number 80004 and is intended for hobby-level tuning and repair where longer bearing life and firmer steering feedback are required.

Key hardware changes supplied with the knuckle increase bearing diameters to reduce wear: the inner bearing is upgraded to 20x30x7mm (original 20x27x4mm) and the outer bearing to 15x24x5mm (original 15x21x4mm). These larger bearings lower contact stress and help sustain steering geometry under repeated loads without changing core chassis geometry.

All mounting hardware is provided and items arrive pre-assembled where practical. For secure installation in a radio-controlled model, use medium-strength threadlocker on mating screws to prevent loosening during running, and follow standard torque practices for M3 fasteners to avoid stripping aluminum threads.
