Durable rear hub for YIKONG TB8

This RC-scale rear hub is designed for the YIKONG YK7081 TB8 platform and is listed as TB8/022. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the hub replaces factory part number 80006 and is supplied with larger inner and outer bearings to address wear on heavily used 1/8 4WD setups.

Manufacturer-specified bearing upgrades are an inner 20x30x7mm (original: 20x27x4mm) and an outer 15x24x5mm (original: 15x21x4mm). The increased contact area helps reduce play at the wheel hub under load.

All included hardware and accessories arrive pre-assembled. The manufacturer recommends using a medium-strength screw threadlocker on fasteners to maintain stability and prevent loosening during running. Installation follows standard RC maintenance: remove the stock hub, fit the new hub onto the axle, verify bearing seating, and secure with the supplied fasteners.

As an aftermarket hop-up, this hub is aimed at improving component durability and repeatability of rear-end geometry. Expect a stiffer, more consistent hub interface compared with the original stamped or softer alloy part, which can assist traction and suspension tuning on both track and off-road surfaces.

Use this hub to replace worn rear hubs on YIKONG YK7081 TB8 cars or when upgrading to larger bearings for improved durability; perform the usual installation checks and apply a medium-strength threadlocker to fasteners.

Remove the original rear hub, slide the new hub onto the axle, confirm the bearings are seated correctly, then secure using the supplied hardware. Use a medium-strength threadlocker on fasteners for best results.
The kit includes oversized inner bearings 20x30x7mm and oversized outer bearings 15x24x5mm, larger than the original stock sizes.
Yes. Hardware and bearings are pre-assembled; just check bearing fit and use a medium-strength threadlocker when reassembling.
Expect a firmer rear hub interface and reduced play, which can lead to more consistent traction and may require minor suspension or diff setup adjustments for optimal handling.
