TB8 7075-T6 Servo Mount

This 7075-T6 aluminum servo mount is a precision-machined replacement for the YIKONG YK7081 TB8 1/8 4WD model. Machined from heat-treated 7075-T6 alloy, it provides higher tensile strength and a lighter profile compared with typical plastic mounts, with an anodized finish that improves corrosion resistance and gives a consistent appearance.

The unit is supplied assembled with the fasteners shown and is intended as a direct replacement for the original factory part while retaining factory alignment and servo position. For reliable performance during track runs or heavy bashing, apply a medium-strength thread locker to metal screws to reduce the chance of loosening from vibration.

As a service and tuning component, the mount stabilizes the servo mounting to keep steering endpoints, trims, and throws consistent. It does not change servo gearing or electronics and is intended for RC-model use only.

Yes. The kit includes Grade 12.9 fasteners; using a thread locker on metal screws is recommended to keep them secure under vibration.
No. The mount stiffens the servo mounting for repeatable alignment but does not alter servo electronics or gear ratios, so performance characteristics of the servo remain unchanged.
