Precision alumite-treated rail for YD-4 slide racks

This RC-scale aluminum rail is a direct replacement for the slide-rail element used in the YD-4 aluminum slide rack assembly on the Y4-202LW. The surface is finished with hardened alumite to lower friction and resist wear so slide-rack motion stays steady across multiple runs.

The rail is manufactured to work with the Y4-202LW slide rack housing and is compatible with chassis listed as DP-YD4 and DP-YD4MR. It serves as a serviceable wear item for maintenance replacement when original rails develop play or surface scoring.

Installation is a straightforward swap inside the slide rack housing: remove the rack cover, replace the worn rail with the alumite-treated part, verify smooth lateral travel, and reassemble. Replacing an aged rail restores predictable slide characteristics and keeps setup changes repeatable during on-track tuning.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is intended for the Y4-202LW slide rack housing and is listed as compatible with DP-YD4 and DP-YD4MR chassis models.
The hardened alumite coating lowers friction and improves abrasion resistance compared with untreated aluminum, which helps the rail keep smoother travel for longer.
Remove the slide rack cover, swap the old rail for the new alumite-treated unit, confirm free lateral movement, and avoid overtightening screws that would bind the rail.
