Dial In Flex for Better Steering on the X1'19

The XRAY X1'19 Graphite Top Deck is a precision spare that gives racers a simple way to adjust longitudinal flex and refine handling. Carefully machined from graphite, it lets you switch chassis feel to suit high-traction runs or looser surfaces, helping you match the car to tyre choice and track grip.

Three Flex Positions and Practical Use

Choose between three settings to shape how the car responds during cornering and on the power:

  • Tightened Nut: Removes longitudinal flex for a sharper steering response on high-grip layouts or with softer tyres, delivering crisp turn-in and consistent front-end feel.
  • Loosened Nut: Provides a compromise between stiffness and movement, useful for mixed-traction tracks where you need stable mid-corner behaviour and smoother throttle transitions.
  • No Top Deck: Delivers the most mid-corner steering, ideal when grip is limited and you need extra front-end bite to rotate the car.

Shock Adapter and Setup Flexibility

This top deck includes a mount for a shock adaptor to accept long-shock setups, expanding your tuning options and allowing you to adapt the X1'19 to a wider range of racing configurations.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Tightening the nut removes longitudinal flex so the chassis reacts faster to steering inputs, giving a more precise and immediate front-end response on grippy tracks.
Yes, the loosened nut gives some compliance that helps mid-corner stability and better traction transition when grip varies around the circuit.
The deck has a shock adaptor mounting hole for long-shock configurations, so you can integrate it into a range of X1'19 setups without major changes.
