This Arrowmax AM-RX8-348520 pinion is an aftermarket replacement made for use with the XRAY RX8 platform. It is machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and given a hard coating for wear resistance, offering a lightweight yet robust option that meshes cleanly with the spur gear.

The pinion is marked for the 2ND position in the motor stack and is available in tooth counts 16T, 17T, 18T, 19T, 20T and 21T to simplify ratio changes without swapping the spur. Changing pinion teeth lets you tune low-end acceleration against top speed and refine clutch engagement on two-stage clutch systems.
