This Arrowmax AM-RX8-348518 18T pinion is built as an aftermarket motor pinion to suit the XRAY RX8 platform. It is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and finished with a hard wear coating to provide a light, durable option where RX8-compatible pinions are needed.

Use this pinion to alter the final drive ratio and fine tune motor loading without replacing the spur gear. The hard-coated 7075 alloy aims to balance low mass and improved surface wear resistance, and the tooth form is intended to mesh cleanly with RX8 spur gears when proper mesh is set.

The Arrowmax range offers multiple tooth counts including 16T, 17T, 18T, 19T, 20T and 21T so you can change gearing in small steps. When fitting on an RX8, confirm shaft diameter and check mesh across full suspension droop and steering travel to prevent premature wear.
