This 16-tooth pinion is an RC-scale replacement part for the XRAY RX8 clutch and pinion arrangement, supplied by Arrowmax as AM-RX8-348516. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminium with a hard-coated surface, the gear keeps mass low while improving tooth wear resistance and is designed to mesh cleanly with the RX8 spur gear.

Fitting follows common pinion replacement steps for the RX8: remove the present pinion from the motor or clutch assembly, slide the new 16T onto the shaft to the correct engagement depth, then fasten it using the original mounting hardware. Always check gear mesh and rotate the drivetrain by hand to confirm smooth operation before powering the model.
