Setup Guide for the X10'22 Chassis with XRAY Braces

Tune the handling of your XRAY X10'22 using the Graphite Side Brace Tuning Kit. The brace options give clear flex choices so you can adapt chassis behaviour to varying grip levels and driving style.

Four Flex Positions for Practical Tuning

Fit the graphite side braces to change chassis stiffness with these four positions:

  • Soft: No side braces used. Best for low to medium traction on carpet and asphalt, improving mechanical grip.
  • Medium: Braces fitted at middle and rear. Provides a balanced blend of steering and stability for typical track conditions.
  • Medium-Stiff: Braces fitted at middle-front, middle, and rear. Appropriate for medium-high to high traction where sharper turn-in is needed.
  • Stiff: Braces fitted at all positions. Maximises stability on very high traction surfaces while limiting roll.

Start with Medium for a neutral baseline then move to Soft if you need more mechanical grip or to Stiff if the car needs less roll on high-traction surfaces. Test one step at a time and observe changes in corner entry and mid corner balance.

Will I need special hardware to fit the braces?

The braces attach to the standard mounting points on the X10'22 chassis. Refer to the XRAY assembly instructions for correct positions and tightening sequence to avoid chassis distortion.
