The XRAY 371027 X1'21 Hard Graphite Chassis is built to give racers a more controlled feel on very grippy surfaces. Made from 2.5mm hard graphite, this chassis reduces oversteer and smooths out response when running aggressive tyres.

Chassis integration and setup options

This chassis works with the Tweak-Free Pod System and side braces to improve overall balance. It also accepts multiple wheelbase settings and offers three front suspension mounting positions: standard, +4mm, or -4mm to suit different track layouts.

Will this chassis require different shock settings?

You will often soften rear shock damping and tune droop to match the increased grip. Small changes to rebound and spring rate help balance the chassis on grippy tracks.

Does the chassis change ride height or ground clearance?

Thickness is 2.5mm, so basic ride height stays similar, but final clearance depends on your pod and side brace setup. Adjust motor mount and pod shims if needed.

Are special tools needed to fit this part?

No special tools are required beyond common RC hand tools. A precision driver set and feeler gauges are useful to get consistent mounting and setup.
