The XRAY 364941 Steel Differential Bevel Gear is made for the large volume differentials used in the XB4 range. This 41 tooth bevel gear generates a mild overdrive effect, useful when running smaller front tyres to better match larger rear tyres. Its split diff layout, with a separate lightweight crown gear and diff cover, reduces rotating mass and makes service work easier.

Manufactured from CNC machined Hudy Spring Steel, the bevel gear is ultra hardened to resist wear under demanding use. Accurate machining guarantees consistent mesh and smooth operation, helping keep the XB4 drivetrain efficient and reliable.

Fitment Tips and Care

When fitting this bevel gear check the mating pinion carefully, as hidden damage on the pinion can transfer to the crown gear. Correct gear mesh and shimming at the bulkhead are important to avoid premature wear and to maintain the intended overdrive behaviour.
