Normal RC hand tools and a torque-balanced screwdriver are sufficient. Check screw threads and apply thread locker if your setup calls for it to prevent loosening during hard running.
You will see reduced central mass which can sharpen turn-in and improve responsiveness. Weight saving depends on the part being replaced, but the 7075 T6 alloy is optimised for lightness and strength.
