Engineered Rear Shock Bodies for XRAY XB8 Precision

Made for the XRAY XB8, these CNC-machined aluminum rear shock bodies combine high-strength 7075 T6 alloy with a lightweight profile to withstand rough off-road racing. The construction balances durability and low mass so your suspension reacts more consistently on demanding tracks.

Rebound Control via Smart Membrane Placement

The design fits a ribbed shock membrane directly to the shock body instead of the upper cap, letting excess oil escape more reliably. Together with the vent hole and the adjusting screw on the shock cap, this layout gives very fine control of air (rebound) response for achieving true zero rebound settings.

Big Bore Layout and Adjustable Collar

These shock bodies use an oversized big-bore format with an 18.5mm outer diameter and external threading for an adjustable collar. That arrangement allows fast spring preload changes trackside, and the titanium-colored finish helps resist wear while keeping a clean, race-ready look.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Start with recommended oil and spring rates, then use the adjusting screw and vent to reduce air spring effect until the shock returns without any extension movement after compression. Small increments work best.
The 7075 T6 alloy keeps the parts light for aluminium while offering greater strength, so handling feels more consistent without a large penalty in mass.
Standard shock service tools and a set of small hex drivers are enough to swap the shock bodies and fit the adjustable collars. No specialised machining is required.
